Synopsis: The nearest landfall to the North Sea's richest known oil reserves is the Shetland Islands. A third of Britain's oil flows to the Sullom Voe Terminal making it Europe's biggest port of trans-shipment. It shows the care and concern for the environment which the oil industry has taken in planning and building the terminal, and explains the business partnership which has been established between the oil industry and the people.
